Opportunities to serve with ISMNZ
ISMNZ (International Student Ministries of New Zealand) is a faith mission and each worker, from Campus Worker to Operations Manager to National Director, is responsible for establishing their own financial support. Many of our workers are bi-vocational volunteers (working full or part time in other employment and volunteering their time and lives to the ministry). However, for those who believe God has called them to full or part time mission with ISMNZ, they look to God to meet their financial needs by donations.
Those who are faith funded are supported by gifts from interested friends, churches and trusts. In many cases, gifts come from individuals who have been spiritually helped through the ministry of ISMNZ workers. Others support the work because they too are committed to the vision of raising up international workers for overseas.
We are prayerfully excited to see who God will bring to take up the following roles with ISMNZ:

In each of the following roles available, ISMNZ seeks people who possess the following qualities:

Continuing to grow spiritually as a man/woman of God and model Christ-likeness in all aspects of life

Agree with and embrace the mission, vision, and values of ISMNZ

Able to maintain a balance between ministry, paid employment, and personal/family life

Be an active member of the Body of Christ in a respected local Christian church

AUCKLAND CAMPUS WORKER
This is a contract position, hours are negotiable. Ministry staff are expected to be active in raising their own support and supportive of other staff in raising funds to further the mission of ISMNZ. Based in Auckland.
Do you have a heart for outreach to internationals students in tertiary education in Auckland?
We are looking for someone who will:

Embrace the vision, mission and values of ISMNZ and actively promote them

Represent ISMNZ to international students and Christian and education communities
-
Provide leadership and initiate plans in the Auckland Team
-
Work as part of the ISMNZ Auckland Team, assisting local churches in outreach to and care of international students in their parishes
-
Contribute to chaplaincy services for international students in Auckland
-
Assist graduates with re-entry and linking back to the local community
-
Equip, and provide leadership as opportunities present to train intern, pre-missions and pre-staff programmes
-
Initiate and coordinate a disciple-making ministry amongst international students, and develop teams in ministry contexts
-
Participate in all ISMNZ worker development functions, retreats, and conferences for professional and spiritual development
